About Ainewz

Ainewz is an automated AI news aggregator. It continuously fetches legitimate public RSS feeds, uses AI to determine whether each story is genuinely about Artificial Intelligence, writes an original short summary, categorizes the story, scores its importance, and publishes it — without any manual daily work. Every story keeps its source attribution and links back to the original article.

How it works

  1. 1. Fetch. A server-side scheduler fetches every active source every 15 minutes (configurable), whether or not anyone is on the site.
  2. 2. Validate. Entries with missing titles, invalid URLs or implausible dates are rejected.
  3. 3. Classify. AI determines AI-relevance with a confidence score. High-confidence stories auto-publish; middle-confidence stories wait in a review queue; the rest are rejected.
  4. 4. Summarize. AI writes a 2–4 sentence neutral summary based only on the source text — invented facts, quotes and statistics are prohibited.
  5. 5. Deduplicate & cluster. Similar headlines from different outlets are grouped into story clusters so one event doesn't flood the feed.
  6. 6. Score & publish. Importance (0–10) and trending scores are computed; the daily brief is generated once per day from the top stories.

Ainewz publishes headlines, metadata and short original AI summaries — never full articles. The original reporting always belongs to the linked source; visit the original article for the complete story and verify important information.
