Meta finally ships a frontier model
Muse Wonder and Wonder Full are the Superintelligence Lab's first frontier-class models, with API pricing to match the incumbents and an unusual bet on memory.
Meta's Superintelligence Lab released Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full on Monday, the company's first attempt at a frontier-class model. Wonder costs $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens through the Meta Model API, a price TechCrunch notes lands in the same band as OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5. Wonder Full is not served through the API at all; it is exclusive to Muse Code subscribers.
Both models put unusual weight on memory. Meta says Wonder scores highest in its testing on MemoryBench, a benchmark for continual learning, and the company is promoting an "active memory" property designed to carry user context across days, weeks and months. The models were trained at Meta's Prometheus data center in Ohio, which came online earlier this year.
The release is the first frontier-tier launch since Alexandr Wang restructured Meta's AI efforts in August last year, a gap during which the lab shipped only the lightweight Muse Spark and the Muse agent.
